On March 14, 2025, at 17:00, Marmara University Center for Regional Development and the Department of Economics will be hosting Somik Lall from the World Bank in an online seminar.

Somik Lall is the director of the World Bank's 2024 World Development Report on the “Middle-Income Trap”, which examines how middle-income countries can break into the ranks of the wealthiest economies.
